Privacy Policy

Brand New Home is an independent interior-design curation and Amazon affiliate editorial website. This policy explains the limited data used by the public site and by the private, owner-authorized Pinterest connection.

Public visitors

Brand New Home does not currently offer public user accounts, comments, newsletter forms or checkout. The site does not intentionally request personal information from public visitors. Hosting, browser and third-party services may process technical information such as IP address, device data and request logs under their own policies.

Affiliate and external links

Product links may send visitors to Amazon or through URLgenius. Pinterest links may send visitors to Pinterest. Those services control their own cookies, analytics and data practices. Brand New Home may earn from qualifying Amazon purchases at no additional cost to the visitor.

Microsoft Clarity analytics

With a visitor’s permission, Brand New Home uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregated interactions such as page visits, clicks, taps and scrolling. This helps us evaluate room edits, product cards and outbound shopping routes. Clarity may use cookies and reconstruct on-page interactions for heatmaps and session recordings. Sensitive form content is not intentionally collected by Brand New Home.

Analytics is optional. Clarity is not loaded until the visitor selects “Allow analytics.” Selecting “Decline” leaves the public site and affiliate links fully functional. Visitors can reopen Cookie settings at any time to change their choice. Microsoft processes Clarity data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Pinterest API data

The private BNH Pinterest integration is used only by the site owner. After explicit Pinterest OAuth authorization, it may access the authorized account profile, boards, Pins and organic analytics, and may create or update Pins when the owner requests that action.

Pinterest App credentials, access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage. They are never placed in public page content, product data or affiliate links. Operational audit entries contain action names, resource identifiers and status only; they do not store passwords, tokens or prompt text.

Retention and control

The Pinterest connection is retained until the owner disconnects it, revokes access in Pinterest, or requests deletion. OAuth state values expire after ten minutes. The owner can disconnect the integration from the private control page and can also revoke app access through Pinterest account settings.

Sharing and sale

Brand New Home does not sell Pinterest account data or public visitor data. Data is disclosed only to the hosting, analytics and API services required to operate the site and its owner-authorized integrations.

Policy updates and contact

This policy may be updated when the site adds or removes services. Questions or deletion requests can be sent through the contact method listed on the Brand New Home Pinterest business profile.
